This cover protects you
in the event of a claim for damage caused to a property that is
no longer in your ownership. If the new owner has not insured
the property correctly, a tenant could seek recourse from you
under the terms of the original lease.

If your property contains
lifts, boilers, vessels, machinery and other such apparatus, there
could be a statutory obligation to arrange for this equipment
to be inspected periodically to ensure that it is safe.
